The film thickness was controlled by frequency change of a quartz resonator located near the substrates in the evaporator system. Calibration curves were obtained by determining the thickness of pigmented films on transparent quartz substrates placed in the pigment’s deposition Prediction of Photoelectrochemical Properties 15 zone, with a microinterferometer MII-11. Control of spectral parameters of the films confirmed integrity of the structure of pigment molecules. Because of the carefully refined method, we were able to obtain highly reproducible parameters of the films on platinum substrates.
